A few years back, after a hard bite from the travel bug, I decided to hitchhike across Eastern Canada. Despite the obvious recklessness involved, the sense of freedom and spontaneity was exhilarating. I loved seeing new faces and hearing new stories every day, and as the miles passed I felt like I was blending in with the changing landscape.
